Bulgarian artist Monika Dimitrova entered her name in the Guinness Book of Records during the second edition of the Global Canvas Art Festival in Dubai - one of the largest international art events of our time, NOVA reported.
The world record, officially announced on January 16, is for the largest number of nationalities participating simultaneously in a painting session, with artists from over 50 countries included in the achievement. Among them, it was Monika Dimitrova's work that was awarded first place by the international jury, due to its strong artistic impact, emotional appeal and the presence of the author.
In her painting The Plovdiv artist uses bright, saturated colors and powerful symbolism. The image of a family of bulls on a red background carries a message about the inner strength, connection and resilience that awaken when a person needs them most.
Following this international recognition, Monika Dimitrova will present her next exhibition at the prestigious Art Club Diplomat – a special space for art and cultural events in the heart of Sofia. The exhibition will give the Bulgarian public the opportunity to get up close and personal with the work of an artist with an already global footprint.
