Bulgaria has lost the world-renowned sculptor Ognyan Petkov, FOCUS reported.
Ognyan Petkov has numerous appearances in Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Russia.
His works are owned by Presidents Bill Clinton and Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, "George Eckley" Collection, "Bulgarian Sculpture" Collection. of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We all mourn the loss of Ognyan Petkov, loved and respected by all of us and extremely talented. He will be remembered for his amazing and inimitable creative handwriting.
Ognyan Petkov put all his heart and soul into his creative projects, and his imagination and talent turned them into aesthetic and symbolic messages for generations," said the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, on the occasion of the death of Ognyan Petkov.
