Kamen Vodenicharov "returns home" with "The last one wins", Toncho Tokmakchiev - again on the "mother television" with "The evening show", writes 24 hours.

We are so used to the movers Toncho and Kamen that it is unbelievable how they can be in different roles and separately on BNT. However, this will happen with the start of the autumn season.

6 years after “The Channel Show" the two of them will once again be presenters on public television - Kamen Vodenicharov in the game "The Last One Wins" and Toncho Tokmakchiev - on the "Evening Show". every Thursday.

The feeling is like returning home, Vodenicharov, who replaces Orlin Goranov in the daily TV quiz, cut short and clearly.

“Now a new bride, new luck. Because of the profile we already have - of mature men, and thanks to the accumulated knowledge, the provocativeness of each one of us and the reflexivity, we are trying to build in a new way something that has already been going on and is on television," explains Kamen.< br />
According to him, things have changed a lot, at least purely technologically. “But meeting people you have known for a long time in the corridors is extremely pleasant. Some of the friends with whom we built the student program "Ku-ku" are now leaders in the behind-the-scenes teams at BNT, the actor adds.

For his new role as host of “The last one wins" Vodenicharov is preparing seriously. Admits that he has to research and read up on some things. Of course, Orlin Goranov gave him advice, but Vodenicharov prefers to stay in the "kitchen". The most important thing, he told him, was to be patient. And Kamen is aware that the people who come to the game have very good knowledge. Winners from previous editions will also participate in it.

The competition starts on September 9 at 7 p.m., when the news broadcasts are on the other two major television channels - BTV and Nova TV. “I find it funny how the show goes against the news of the private media. Somehow, it is very important to have a positive and smiling mood - exactly what is not in the news," Vodenicharov says.

Therefore, he is glad that at the end of the episodes of “The last one wins" can announce that the central broadcast "Around the world and in our country" is coming. He will continue to host the program “The evening of the Ku-ku band" on 7/8.

Even as a child, he entered the studio of the public television, because his father Boris Vodenicharov at that time was the editor, and then the editor-in-chief of “People's creativity" - the editorial office that did everything related to folklore on television.

A vivid memory since then for Kamen is the mobile television stations (PTS), with which they went to various festivals in the country. “These beautiful machines or trucks full of equipment, connecting the cameras into one, were the most interesting thing to me as a child,", he adds.

Even as a child, he was photographed in a variety of shows, mostly as an audience member. As the son of a television worker, someone was constantly calling to ask him for pictures.

Vodenicharov graduated in acting for puppet theater at VITIZ in the class of Prof. Nikolina Georgieva in 1990. In fact, this was the last graduation before the academy was renamed to NATFIZ in 1991.

They have known Toncho Tokmakchiev since their first year, as they are fellow students. “As a soldier at that time, I was in the barracks until the end. The entire graduating class had gone to brigade before the school year started, and they already knew each other. And I arrived in an already established team, and the looks at me were quite strange at the beginning", recalls Vodenicharov. And immediately the first teasings appeared. “Toncho, as to this day, has always said something contrary to what is being said at the moment,", he adds. It is this mutual provocation and their different perspectives on events, plays or whatever that allows them to create fun joint projects.

Gradually, the two build their friendship. “It is very important to know that you can count on the person on the other side," Vodenicharov is emphatic.

Even as students, they were filmed in small roles in television shows. Then one of the biggest TV presenters - Hacho Boyadzhiev, as well as other directors, relied for their productions on participants taken straight from the student bench.

After graduating, Vodenicharov participated in the creation of the student program "Ku-ku". Together with their colleagues from the Puppet Faculty, they move the doll, which looks a lot like Todor Zhivkov and is in the role of a TV presenter. And their idea comes from the popular at that time “Muppet Show".

In “Koo-koo" Vodenicharov made funny news and took Tokmakchiev with him in some photos to present the weather forecast.

“He was with an umbrella and he was saying such nonsense and nonsense that we all laughed a lot,", Kamen recalls. This is, so to speak, Tokmakchiev's baptism of fire, not in television at all, but specifically for “Ku-ku".

The two are also part of the famous show "The Channel", broadcast on BNT from 1995 to 2004. "We had a very strong 5 years together with all my colleagues and with the "Ku-Ku Band", when we also created the funny songs, and the images that took hold on the screen," Vodenicharov says. Literally in a week or two, they become extremely popular and understand what the power of television means, which was then the only one in our country.

At that time, they also do the biggest concerts in the stadiums. The actor will never forget how Hristo Stoichkov was also present at one of them. They invited him on stage and “the whole stadium erupted when he got on," Vodenicharov recalls.

After all, the actor was at the center of events during the 1994 World Cup. This is his first major trip abroad to film a show. “I have been waiting for all these big stars of Bulgarian football to say a few words and I have watched them with great excitement,", he says. He had no idea that a few years later he would be talking to Stoichkov, Bobi Mihailov, Nasko Sirakov, Trifon Ivanov.

Vodenicharov is already a director in “Channel Show", which is the successor of “Canaleto", acting in some sketches as well.

Since then, it is the funny images of the movers that remain unforgettable to this day. In fact, screenwriters Ivaylo Valchev and Lyuben Dilov-sin propose the interesting move that one of them confuses the words and the other corrects it. “It was a perfect key for us, because Toncho is very good at figuring out how to mess up the real sentence. Subsequently, after they appeared in “Canaleto", their further development was mainly connected with us," Vodenicharov tells about the movers. “They are very interesting slates. They sense purely intuitively what is actually hidden behind a given topic, just as Bulgarians talk to each other with a little mistrust of what is being said."

Over the years, Toncho Tokmakchiev has played a number of roles for public television. That is why hosting the “Evening Show", which starts on September 12 at 9 p.m., will not be a completely new role for him. As he himself says - he has already played almost everything in the different formats of BNT, with his first appearance being in 1987.

He does not hesitate long to accept the offer to be the new host of the show and quickly agrees.

BNT is not abandoned, and is “connected to the mother television", explains Tokmakchiev. He even took it upon himself to reassure the team that whatever they decide to include in the program is okay. He himself has already boiled and seethed enough, and he has played and what not.

What is different about the new season this time is that Toncho Tokmakchiev will partner on stage with Teddy Katsarova, who will lead the show's band. The host will be the actress Borisa Stefanova, with whom the actor also partners in the “Channel Show".

The talk show, which airs every Thursday, has become famous for having a new host every season. Influencer Andrea Banda Banda, journalist Georgi Ljubenov, singer Orlin Pavlov, actor Niki Stanoev have passed through Tokmakchiev's place so far.

Toncho Tokmakchiev was born on May 2, 1963 in Burgas. "Krastyo Sarafov" graduated from acting at NATFIZ. in Nikolina Georgieva's class. He is among the main faces of the student show "Ku-ku" and later on "The Channel". He is the main actor and producer of “Show on the Channel".

Played in a number of theater productions, among which “Versions" in Theater 199. In 2022, he participated in the daily evening program of BTV "The Show". In 2019, the actor ran for mayor from the Green Party and for the leader of their lists for municipal councilors in the capital.

Neither Toncho Tokmakchiev nor Kamen Vodenicharov will have it easy with their new ventures, because in October, together with Georgi Mamalev, they will tour America with the show "Masters of Comedy".

This is their second overseas tour with the same show. They will now tour 13 cities in a month, starting on October 3rd in Miami and ending in Denver.

In order to cope, the two are filming the October editions of “The Last One Wins" this month. and “The Evening Show". “This is our difficult task now", admits Kamen.

“The Masters of Comedy" is a parody of an evening television show. The three are reincarnated both in the role of presenters and as guests. “It is as if the audience in the hall is the audience of the evening show", says Vodenicharov.

Otherwise, what they recreate as themes and guests in the show is taken from real life, and the songs they perform are from the golden years of “Ku-ku", “Kanaleto" and UFOs.

“We try to cause laughter by making fun of world events, but also a bit of nostalgia and a smile about the past," Kamen adds.

According to him, the meetings with the Bulgarian communities abroad are extremely exciting. “They treat Bulgaria with great affection, with great anger for what is being delayed in our country, they ask in detail what is happening in our country, have we built our highways, but they are also very punctual,", explains the actor.< /p>
