A missing family from the Sultanate of Kedah in Malaysia has been found in a submerged car at the bottom of a river, reports Mothership.
On July 4, Mohammad Azim Izzat Ishak, his wife Nurul and their four children, the eldest of whom is seven years old and the youngest is six months old, were visiting the man's sister in the village of Taman Seri Aman. She convinced her relatives to get a good night's rest, but they decided to leave early, at around 5:30 in the morning.
A few hours later, it turned out that Ishak and his family had not reached home and no one was able to contact them by phone.
On July 5, their relatives contacted the police. On July 7, the car with the remains of the husband, wife and children was found at the bottom of the river near the road. The water level had dropped and the upper part of it was visible above the surface.
Investigators determined that Ishak lost control and the car fell into the river, the level of which was higher than usual due to the rains.
