Greed and carelessness – welcome to the ravine of “Elenite” - 1
FAKTI.BG publishes opinions with a wide range of perspectives to encourage constructive debates.

Greed and carelessness – welcome to the ravine. Construction, concrete, houses, villas, apartments, greed, money, euros, carelessness – welcome to the ravine of the resort complex “Elenite”.

Here is the problem.

A ravine, a mayor, a chief architect, an investor, a project, construction, a house, a sale, a profit = four victims. Otherwise, until then, everyone is happy. I have a villa in “Elenite”, the summer is nice, I am at the sea… And what does nature think? Can you build in a ravine!? Why can’t you? It’s land. There will be a hole, concrete, a structure, a house, a block of flats or whatever will be allowed. We do what is a ravine?

The Ministries of Regional Development, Tourism and Environment are checking the legality of construction after the disaster that claimed the lives of three people
The Burgas District Prosecutor's Office has initiated three separate pre-trial proceedings in connection with the tragic incidents that led to the death of three people in the holiday village “Elenite“. The investigations aim to clarify all the causes and circumstances that led to the fatalities, as well as the facts related to the disaster in the area.

In parallel, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Environment and Water have begun checks on all construction permits in the holiday village. The reason for the actions is the suspicion that overbuilding in the area of the dry ravine is a major factor in the scale of the flood that hit “Elenite“.

Ha! Now you understand that it was built in a ravine and was sold expensively, greedily.

The disaster in “Elenite“ initially claimed the lives of three people - a local resident, excavator Tsanko Ivanov, who participated in clearing the terrain, and the employee of the “Border Police“ Stefan Ivanov. Later, the body of a 58-year-old Russian citizen was found in one of the side villas in the resort.
Now the question is this - will the prosecutor's office do its job properly, or will “brother, brother - tell me how much and save me“ come into force. Will the prosecutor's office reveal:
- who is the architect who prepared the Detailed Development Plan (DDP), which envisages development on the riverbed?
- which mayor or municipal councilors approved the plan, foreseeing the construction of the riverbed?
- which chief architects of Nessebar have permitted the construction of all these objects on the river?
- was there a procedure in the Burgas Regional Inspectorate for Environment, Water and Water for this construction and how was it permitted?
- which regional governors have permitted or allowed construction on public state property in violation of the Water Act?

There are questions, but answers… We'll see.
