CSKA 1948 defeated Loko (Pd) 4:0 in a match from the ninth round of the First League, BTA reports. For the guests from Plovdiv, the defeat was the first of the season. The match started at a high pace, with both teams managing to create chances in front of the opponent's goal, but without them posing a real goal threat.
However, the first real chance to score did not open until the 41st minute. Then Atanas Iliev received the ball in a clear position no more than ten meters from the Lokomotiv goal and immediately shot low with his left foot, but Boyan Milosavljevic made an excellent lob and knocked it into a corner.
However, the pressure of the hosts at the end of the first half brought them a result and in the 43rd minute Marto Boychev was accurate for 1:0. After a quick throw-in, the "reds" played into Lokomotiv's penalty area and Boychev scored a goal with a shot from a small angle.
The goal gave additional confidence to the players of head coach Ivan Stoyanov and in the 51st minute they doubled their lead. A cross from the right flank was intercepted by Atanas Iliev, who headed in his third goal of the season.
In the 64th minute, the scorer Iliev was replaced by Mamadou Diallo (left), who wasted no time and within the next five minutes brought the score to 4:0. First, the Mauritanian national team took advantage of a mistake by the "Smurfs" defense and made it 3:0 on an empty net, and then used a pass from Frederic Maciel to send the ball back behind Milosavljevic. The match was played out until the end and neither team did anything more memorable.
