Manchester United won over Brighton 4:2 in a match from the ninth round of the English championship. Brian Mbemo distinguished himself with two goals for the "Red Devils", while Casemiro and Mateusz Cunha scored once each, BTA reports.
The third consecutive victory for United in the championship was marked by Cunha's opening goal in the 24th minute. Exactly 10 minutes later, Casemiro doubled the lead, and Mbemo made the score 3:0 in the 61st minute.
Strong minutes followed for the "Seagulls". Former United player Danny Welbeck reduced the visitors' deficit in the 74th minute, and his teammate Charalambos Kostoulas also scored with a header in extra time at "Old Trafford".
