Ludogorets were extremely dissatisfied with the drawn program for the playoffs in the First League. Dimitar Bozhkilov, transfer manager at the Razgrad club, expressed a similar thesis in front of BNT. „Yes, that's why Mr. Karamandzhukov left the draw. He expressed our arguments in the scheduled working meeting that took place before the draw. This is not from now on. It was at the beginning of the year, when we were informed about this software, which, on the whole, looks good and is well packaged, but things turned out so that in the busiest time in the first half of the season, we had to play five away games out of seven games. And we also had games in Europe. So we expressed (disagreement) even then, it doesn't date back to now. I don't want it to come across as some kind of excuse“, commented Bozhkilov.
“Now, in practice, this second place that we have won so far is meaningless, since, for example, CSKA will have five consecutive home games at “Vasil Levski“. I'm not saying that CSKA will be supported in any way, but rather that the software itself does not work in this case. So it turned out that Ludogorets is in the most disadvantageous position. We are obliged to state it“, added the manager.
For the next championship, we will insist that correct criteria be set. I am also talking about the participants in Europe, not only Ludogorets. They will also be harmed, Bozhkilov is categorical.
“Ultimately, this is the reality and we will comply with it. But this must be corrected to be fair to all participants. Regardless of the fact that Ludogorets is outside Sofia. There is life outside Sofia. Whatever happens, we will learn our lessons.
