Ludogorets took the three points in Stara Zagora with a penalty goal - 1

Champion Ludogorets recorded a fourth consecutive victory from the beginning of the season. The team from Razgrad achieved a minimal success with 1:0 when visiting Beroe in a meeting of the sixth round of the First League. The only goal in the match was scored by Todor Nedelev in the 65th minute from a penalty awarded for a foul by Oyer Saregi against Spas Delev. In the first part, Jakub Piotrovski hit the crossbar, and at the very end of the match Beroe's reserve Francisco Sagardia did the same, who could have brought the point to his team, BTA reported.

With the success “the eagles“ continue their unblemished run since the start of the new season and have a full asset of 12 points from their first four games played. They climbed to third position in the standings, 3 points behind leaders Levski, but have two games less than the “blues”. Ludogorets overtook Beroe, which remains in sixth place with 10 points, as many as the fourth and fifth in the standings - Botev (Plovdiv) and Black Sea, respectively.

From the very beginning of the match, the champions took the initiative and pressed “Zaralii“ in their half. In the fourth minute, Rick Jonathan combined a technical back-heel with Ruan Cruz, who immediately tried to finish with a powerful diagonal shot that went high over the crossbar.

Shortly after that, Jonathan himself shot from a distance, but the ball deflected off the foot of a defender in green and went out for a corner. His performance was followed by another inaccurate shot by Aslak Von Vitri.

In the 29th minute, the right full back again decided to end his team's attack with a long shot, but this time his aim was not accurate.

The hosts tried to answer in the 33rd minute. Jose Luis Acciari's men made a quick transition from defense to attack down the left flank and the ball was crossed to Leandro Godoy, who tried to finish from a difficult position with his left foot, but wide of the goal.

Five minutes later, the guests from Razgrad missed the cleanest goal situation in the first half. Todor Nedelev crossed precisely from a corner to Jakub Piotrovski, who swooped in from the second position and headed in, but the ball bounced off Artur Motta's crossbar.

Seven minutes after the start of the second half, Nedelev was also close to an opening goal. He tried a fake shot from about 20 meters, which, however, went just over the target.

In the 63rd minute, Zahari Sirakov's players were given the right to execute a penalty after Oyer Sareghi held Spas Delev in the penalty area. Initially, the head referee Vladimir Valkov let the game continue, but then he was called to look at the situation on the VAR-monitor and awarded an 11-meter penalty kick. Todor Nedelev took up his performance and made no mistake to give the guests an advance – 0:1.

After the goal, the champions significantly reduced turnovers and less often reached the goal position.

In the last minute of the regular time of the match, Kwadwo Dua, who entered as a reserve, could put an end to the dispute with a second goal after a lightning counterattack and a leading pass by Georgi Rusev, but the Swiss national did not hit the goal, he was alone against Artur Motta.

In the counterattack, Beroe missed an excellent chance to equalize. Francisco Sagardia was given space on the edge of the box and shot a tricky shot into the bottom right corner for Padt, who however showed good reflexes to deflect the ball which then bounced off the post before going out for a corner. So the "eagles" they kept their advance and congratulated themselves on the ultimate success.
