Ultra-small SSD with a capacity of up to 2TB - 1

After months of anticipation, Chinese technology manufacturer Biwin has officially introduced the smallest line of SSDs in the world - CL100. These miniature devices, whose physical dimensions resemble those of a microSD card, bring with them enormous potential and are directly aimed at mobile devices, portable game consoles and compact technological systems.

The CL100 line challenges the idea of a ratio between size and performance. Despite their modest dimensions of only 15 x 17 x 1.4 mm, these NVMe drives are real beasts in terms of speed. They achieve lightning-fast read speeds of up to 3700 MB/s and write speeds of up to 3400 MB/s. This impressive transfer is possible thanks to the use of a PCIe 4.0 x2 interface with support for the NVMe 1.4 protocol.

Capacity and aggressive pricing

Biwin offers the CL100 in three main memory configurations, covering a wide range of user needs:
512 GB: Priced at $85.
1 TB: Priced at $155.
2 TB: The highest capacity version is priced at $311.

These prices position the CL100 as a strong competitor in the segment of high-performance, yet ultra-compact data storage solutions.

In addition to the drives themselves, Biwin also introduced an accessory that extends their functionality: a special RD510 card reader. It is equipped with an ultra-fast USB4 interface (40 Gbps) and has a built-in cooling fan. This allows the CL100 to be easily transformed into an extremely small yet high-speed external data transfer device, opening up new possibilities for professionals and enthusiasts.
