The press around the world is shocked because in less than two months we are witnessing a second assassination attempt against Donald Trump. After the first shot was fired, now – the second time, it wasn't. In the first assassination, Trump just got lucky, and now it's a little different. And that's because the alleged bomber couldn't have fired for the simple reason that his weapon was sticking out of the bushes. So one of Trump's security guards opened fire after seeing him, and the bomber ran away. This is what he announced to Lili Marinkova in the "FACTS" studio. and the show “Conversation“ the journalist and translator Ognyan Daskarev.
"But the incident on the golf course raises some interesting questions. For example, how did this person know that Trump was going to play golf on Sunday afternoon? How did he sit for about 12 hours in some bushes without anyone noticing? Why wasn't the entire golf course fenced off? The third question was answered by a sheriff who said they would have cordoned off the entire ballpark if Trump had been the sitting president. But since he isn't, he didn't need that much protection. That sounds like a frivolous explanation considering the fact that he was assassinated less than two months ago. So the security guards should think about these things," Daskarev also shared.
"Otherwise, Trump praised the guards categorically for acting adequately and thanked them. Although no shots were fired, this is another very serious setback for Trump. He was stationed at about 300m and with a good shooter, with a good weapon - whatever he had, it wouldn't be a problem to kill him or seriously wound him. "Trump was just lucky again that the bomber didn't shoot this time," the guest added.
