Russian troops have advanced near three settlements on the front in Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk regions. This was reported by the analytical project DeepState on Saturday, September 20, quoted by FOCUS.
An offensive by Russian forces was registered near Katerynovka (Donetsk region) in the direction of Torets, near Novomykolaivka (Dnipropetrovsk region) and Novoivanovka (Zaporozhye region) in the direction of Novopavlivka.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a statement on September 20 that 165 combat clashes took place on the front during the day, including 33 assaults in the direction of Novopavlivka and 19 Russian attacks in the Toretsk area. The largest number of battles was registered in the Pokrovskoye direction - 50 per day.
On September 12, the battalion "Shkval" of the 425th separate assault regiment "Skelya" liberated the village of Filiya on the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
On September 18, during a visit to the Donetsk region, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian military was conducting a counteroffensive in the Pokrovsk and Dobropil regions.
On September 19, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported that the advance of Ukrainian troops into the depth of the enemy's defense in the direction of Dobropil was from three to seven kilometers. Control had been restored in seven settlements, and nine had been cleared of Russian soldiers.
