US President Donald Trump threatened Venezuela today that it would pay an "immeasurable" price if it does not take back "prisoners and patients from mental hospitals" who, in his words, were "sent" to the US from this country, with which Washington has been increasing tensions for several weeks, reported Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA.
"We want Venezuela to immediately accept all prisoners and patients from psychiatric hospitals [...] that Venezuelan leaders have forcibly sent to the US“, wrote the American president on his social network "Truth Social", adding in capital letters: “GET THEM OUT OF OUR COUNTRY IMMEDIATELY, otherwise the price you will pay will be immeasurable“.
The US recently deployed several warships to the Caribbean Sea, AFP reports.
