Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Trinh congratulated singer Duc Phuc, a participant in the “Intervision“ music competition held in Moscow, on his victory.
The Prime Minister praised the brilliant efforts and remarkable achievements of the performer, noting that the victory is a source of pride not only for the singer, but also for contemporary Vietnamese music and culture. Pham Minh Trinh expressed hope that the victory will motivate both Duc Phuc and other Vietnamese performers to develop their talents, expand their creative horizons, and invest in national music and culture.
The resumed “Intervision“ was held on September 20 in Moscow. Russia was represented by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Yaroslav Dronov, known by his stage name Shaman. The performances were judged by an international professional jury from 23 countries, including the United States, whose performer was unable to participate. After the vote, Duc Phuc from Vietnam was declared the winner of Intervision, scoring 422 points. He received a crystal trophy and a cash prize of 30 million rubles. During the final, it was announced that Saudi Arabia would host the Intervision song contest in 2026.
