Ukraine plans to start supplying drones to the United States as part of a planned deal with Washington by June 30, 2026.
This is stated in the Ukrainian government's program of activities for 2025-2026, submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
“By June 30, 2026, the implementation of the agreement with the United States for the production and sale of pilot systems will begin,“ the program materials state.
By this period, joint ventures with leading European arms manufacturers, including Rheinmetall, BAE Systems, Thales, KNDS and Kongsberg D&A, are also planned.
Earlier, The Financial Times reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy had offered to The United States in Washington a program to jointly produce drones, partly at American facilities. The deal is expected to be worth $50 billion, with production of 10 million drones per year planned for five years.
Zelensky presented the deal to US President Donald Trump in Washington in September, but the documents have not yet been signed.
