An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was registered today in the town of Ashkale, in the eastern Turkish province of Erzurum, "Türkiye Today" reported, BTA reports.
According to information from the Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at 11:29 a.m. local time and was at a depth of 7 kilometers.
There is currently no information about injuries or damage.
