Russia is deliberately betting on "disposable soldiers", using foreign mercenaries for this purpose. This was stated on the air of "Kiev24" by Major General of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Reserve Sergey Krivonos.
According to him, even at the stage of training new recruits, the Russians understand that they have to train suicide bombers who will most likely not survive their first battle.
"The Russians are quite effectively training a huge number of people in their training and training centers, which they have deployed both on the territory of the Russian Federation and in the occupied lands of Ukraine. "They don't turn them into super soldiers, but into soldiers who have to fulfill only one task," the military man said.
With this, he also explained the fact that the Russians are in no way trying to integrate foreign mercenaries into their army, in particular, they are not teaching them Russian to overcome the language barrier.
According to the US State Department, from 1 to 5 thousand Cuban citizens are fighting on the side of Russia. Ukrainian intelligence believes that their number is much higher - at least 20 thousand.
Earlier, Russian opposition journalists conducted an investigation, during which they found that citizens of fifty countries from all over the world are fighting in the Russian army against Ukraine.
These are mainly citizens of poor countries in Asia and Africa, but there are also quite a few Europeans.
