With increased range and payload! The Ukrainian army showed a new generation of Sea Baby naval drones - 1

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) demonstrated to correspondents of the "Reuters" agency a new modification of its unmanned naval boats, known as Sea Baby. According to the Ukrainian side, this is the most powerful version of the combat naval drones developed by Kiev during the war with Russia.

According to official information, the new model can travel up to 1,500 kilometers and carry a payload of up to 2,000 kilograms - approximately twice as much as previous versions. This means that the drones can now reach and attack targets deep in the Black Sea, including bases and ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

The SBU claims that various variants of the Sea Baby have participated in attacks on 11 Russian warships, as well as in strikes on the Crimean bridge. Ukrainian sources describe the new devices as "full-fledged weapons of the sea", capable of operating autonomously and being used to strike strategic targets.

The location of the demonstration was not disclosed for security reasons. Journalists were shown two gray unmanned boats equipped with a missile launcher and a gun system. According to "Reuters", the media team's admission was accompanied by a preliminary check of all filmed materials by the SBU, which requested that three photos with details of the structure be deleted.

The Sea Baby naval drones are considered one of the most significant Ukrainian technological achievements during the war. They are used for both reconnaissance and combat missions, and managed to change the balance in the Black Sea and force Russian ships to retreat from its western areas.

Ukrainian experts have commented that the new version of the Sea Baby marks a "second technological wave" in Kiev's naval operations and could become a major tool of unmanned warfare at sea.
