The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky today called on EU leaders to agree as quickly as possible on the plan for using the frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The proposed mechanism for using the blocked Russian assets is completely legal and fair, wrote on the social platform "Ex" Zelensky, who is in Brussels for the meeting of the European Council.
He added that Ukraine would use a significant part of these assets to purchase weapons from its European partners.
