Nearly 100,000 Ukrainians have left Ukraine since the Ukrainian authorities allowed men under the age of 22 to travel abroad without restrictions, The Telegraph reports, citing data from the Polish Border Service.
According to its data, 99,000 young Ukrainians have crossed the Polish border since the end of August.
In mid-August, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the easing of travel abroad for men aged 18 to 22.
Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, martial law has been declared in Ukraine, prohibiting men between the ages of 18 and 60 from travel abroad without special permission from military authorities.
