The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian authorities least of all want Serbian ammunition to be fired at Russian soldiers. Thus he commented on the readiness of the Serbian authorities to sell weapons to the European Union, TASS reports, quoted by Focus.

"Of course, the least we would like to see is weapons and ammunition produced in our brotherly Serbia to be used against our soldiers. The least we would like to see is this", Dmitry Peskov commented.

He specifies that Moscow understands that Belgrade is being put under "unprecedented pressure" and adds that "the situation there is quite difficult".

On November 2, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that the country's authorities had offered the European Union to buy ammunition from the republic. When asked about possible arms supplies to Ukraine, Vučić replied that "the country has no objection".
