Vladimir Putin has helped at least 24 of his relatives obtain government positions, according to an investigation by "Project". Investigative journalists in Russia have managed to uncover the positions held by key figures close to the Russian president. The families of his ex-wife Lyudmila Putin-Ocheretna, as well as other friends of Putin – Alina Kabaeva, Svetlana Krivonogikh and Alisa Kharcheva – received income related to the Russian authorities, writes Focus.

Relations of the politician's daughters Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, his paternal cousins Evgeny and Igor, his maternal cousin Lyubov Shelomova and his paternal cousin Lyubov Kruglova also received positions.

"Project" writes that the highest positions went to the branch of the cousin Evgeny's family: Anna Tsivileva, Sergey Tsivilev and Mikhail Putin received positions in the government and in "Gazprom". The branch of the paternal cousin's family controls another company, "RusHydro", the journalists write. Ekaterina Tikhonova's husband, Igor Zelensky, supervised the construction of the theater in Sevastopol, and Alisa Kharcheva's father, Vsevolod Kharchev, received a position at “ANO Dialog“.

In 2024, the investigative center published an extensive article about Putin's sons from Kabaeva, who until then were not known to the general public.

According to journalists, their names are Ivan and Vladimir, and they were born in the spring of 2015 and 2019. The boys live in isolation in the presidential residences. Nannies from South Africa are being sought for them, and Kabaeva's sister introduces herself to new employees as the children's mother.
