British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will join a working dinner tomorrow evening in Berlin with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron, Agence France-Presse reported, citing information from the German government, BTA reports.
Initial reports indicated that the meeting was planned only between Merz and Macron and that the two would discuss issues related to digitalization. However, it was not specified what the agenda would be once Starmer joined the conversation.
The three countries often meet in the E3 format, especially on topics such as the Iranian nuclear program. They are among the most active European supporters of Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
The Berlin meeting comes immediately after a European forum dedicated to digital sovereignty and the EU's drive to reduce its dependence on American technology corporations.
