Increasingly, the phenomenon in which soldiers spend 200-300 days continuously in frontline positions is occurring in the Ukrainian Defense Forces. And the worst thing is that this period does not always end with a return to the rear. He revealed this in his blog on "Telegram" senior lieutenant of the Defense Forces of Ukraine with the nickname "Alex", UNIAN specified.
He notes that recently - just half a year ago - cases where someone could not leave the front lines for 60-70 days caused great interest and resonance.
"Now there are cases of 470 days in a position, etc.... as if 200-300 days compared to before cease to be fantastic.
The sad thing about such stories is that there were, are and will be cases when fighters sit in positions for hundreds of days and as a result cannot even wait for their withdrawal and as a result simply die in battles; "There are many more such situations than successful withdrawals," the officer wrote.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrey Gnatov admitted that the Ukrainian army is significantly exhausted after 4 years of war.
At the same time, the senior officer noted that Ukraine is finding tools to restrain the aggressor.
