Ukraine attacked Tula and Volgograd regions with drones, closed Moscow's Vnukovo airport - 1

Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian Tula region, the SHOT telegram channel reported, citing local residents.

According to eyewitnesses, loud explosions were heard in the cities of Novomoskovsk and Aleksin, as a result of which the windows of some houses shook.

The Volgograd region is using air defense forces to repel a drone attack, regional governor Andrei Bocharov wrote in his Telegram channel.

„In the Traktorozavodsky district of Volgograd, debris from unmanned aerial vehicles was recorded falling on „Lodygina“ Street near buildings 12 and 13“, the official said.

He added that emergency services had arrived at the scene. Temporary shelters had been prepared for residents. Preliminary data showed that no one was injured in the attack.

Temporary restrictions on civil aviation flights have been introduced at Moscow”s Vnukovo airport.

Artyom Korenyako, a representative of Rosaviatsia, announced this on his Telegram channel.

He explained that the restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft were necessary to ensure flight safety.

On December 7, it was announced that Sochi airport had introduced restrictions on the arrival and departure of flights.

The “Kilim“ plan is a closed-sky regime for all aircraft and an order for all aircraft or helicopters in flight to immediately land or withdraw from a specified area. This plan can be activated for various reasons: for example, in the event of sudden changes in weather conditions that pose a threat to flights, violation of airspace by another country's aircraft, or attacks by drones.
