Volodymyr Zelensky: All Flamingo missiles fired by Ukrainian army hit their targets - 1

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on one of the latest Ukrainian attacks with "Flamingo" missiles, said that all the missiles fired reached their targets.

The President of Ukraine made these comments during a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, an Ukrinform correspondent reported, quoted by BTA.

"We carried out precise attacks with "Flamingo" missiles against Votkinsk, hitting targets at a distance of 1,400 km. I consider this a real success for our industry," Zelensky said.

"I will not say how many "Flamingo" missiles were used this time. I just want to note that some of them were intercepted by Russian air defenses, others were not, and there were precise strikes. The most important thing is that all the missiles launched reached their targets," he added.

The President of Ukraine also stressed that Russian forces are trying to track down the production of the "Flamingo".

"We had to wait a long time until the production lines were renewed due to the corresponding Russian attacks. Manufacturers will increase production. This depends on financing and the availability of certain components," Zelensky said.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on the night of February 21, a plant in Votkinsk, in the Russian republic of Udmurtia, which produces "Iskander" missiles and "Oreshnik", were the target of a Ukrainian attack.

At least seven people were killed in overnight Ukrainian drone attacks on the western Russian Smolensk region, Russian authorities said today, quoted by DPA.

Ukrainian forces attacked a nitrogen fertilizer factory in Dorogobuzh, the region's governor, Vasily Anokhin, wrote on "Telegram".

At least 10 people were injured in the attack, which was carried out with at least 30 drones, he said.

To minimize possible risks to the health of the population, evacuation of residents from nearby settlements is being considered, the governor said.

The chemical plant in Dorogobuzh is located about 285 kilometers from the border with Ukraine and belongs to fertilizer manufacturer "Acron Group". The company produces ammonia, ammonium nitrate and nitric acid, as well as other substances that can also be used for military purposes.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 69 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over Russian territory overnight, 14 of which were over the Smolensk region.
