The Iranian government is showing with its indiscriminate attacks on its neighbors that it is confidently heading towards its collapse, the head of European diplomacy, Kaia Kallas, told journalists today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
"Iran's strategy is to sow chaos and set the entire region on fire", she added.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said today that Iran is making a mistake by expanding the war to countries that have not attacked it. His comments came after Turkey reported that NATO air defenses had shot down an Iranian missile heading towards Turkish airspace.
"Iran is expanding the war to countries that did not attack it, to a NATO member state and to a European Union country, but as the famous aphorism goes, "this is worse than a crime, it is a mistake," Sikorski said after a meeting of the Council of the Baltic Sea States.
