Iran will move from limited retaliatory strikes to sustained attacks against its adversaries, and the US will not be able to control oil prices, a spokesman for Iran's Joint Chiefs of Staff said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
"We will not allow even a liter of oil to reach the US, the Zionists (Israel) and their partners. Any ship or tanker heading towards them will be considered a legitimate target," spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaghari said.
He warned that oil prices could rise sharply. "Prepare for $200 per barrel, because the price of oil depends on security in the region, and it is you who have destabilized it", the spokesman said to the US and Israel.
