General Ali Mohammad Naini, a spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed on March 20 as a result of American and Israeli airstrikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic. This was announced by the press service of the corps.

“With deep sorrow, but also with a sense of pride, we announce the martyrdom of a cultural and media figure, Major General Ali Mohammad Naini of the IRGC, Deputy Chairman of Public Relations and Spokesperson of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who fell victim to a brutal American-Zionist terrorist attack at dawn on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan“, the press service of state television announced.

The spokesman for the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Gen. Ali Mohammad Naini said earlier that Tehran continues to produce missiles, the Associated Press reported.

The comments, refuting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that Iran is no longer capable of producing missiles, were made to the Iranian state-run newspaper "Iran".

"The rating of our missile industry is 20 and there are no concerns in this regard because we produce missiles even in war conditions, which is amazing, and there is no specific problem with storing the stockpiles," he added.

In Iranian schools, the maximum rating is 20, the AP noted, BTA reported. He also said that the war would continue. "People expect the war to continue until the enemy is completely exhausted," the general told the Iranian public. "This war must end when the shadow of war lifts from the country."

Reuters later reported that Iranian state television said Gen. Ali Mohammad Naini had been killed.
