A helicopter crashed in the waters of Qatar during a routine mission due to a technical malfunction, reported “Reuters”, quoted by BTA.
“A Qatari helicopter suffered a technical malfunction during a routine mission, which led to its crash in waters near the country“, the Qatari Ministry of Defense said in a statement published in X.
Immediately after the incident, rescue operations began to search for the crew members and passengers on board. Several specialized teams mobilized by both the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior are involved.
It is not yet known how many people were on board the helicopter, nor what its exact mission was before the incident.
