Russia has not received information from Iran about the 15-point US plan to end the war in the Middle East and therefore cannot assess the credibility of the reports, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, quoted by Reuters, reports BTA.
„Our Iranian friends have not given us such information. "We don't know how reliable these reports are," Peskov said.
US President Donald Trump earlier said that Tehran had requested an agreement to end the conflict, with Washington sending a 15-point plan, according to Reuters, citing an unnamed source.
A spokesman for the Iranian armed forces later denied that the country had received such a plan, saying that the US was "negotiating with itself."
