The Iranian army announced that it had targeted and destroyed a warehouse for Ukrainian anti-drone systems in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, world agencies reported. According to Iranian forces, these systems were used in support of US forces attacking Iran, BTA reports.
The news came as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrapped up his visit to the UAE.
Ukrainian experts in counter-drone warfare were sent to Gulf countries to help local authorities counter Iranian drone attacks in response to US-Israeli strikes on Iran.
Ukraine has denied Iranian claims that a warehouse of Ukrainian anti-drone weapons in Dubai was destroyed, Reuters reported.
"This is a lie. We officially reject this information", said Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tykhy.
"The Iranian regime regularly conducts such disinformation campaigns", he added.
