Iran said that the United States is seeking a “dignified exit“ from the conflict.
Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi noted that every speech by US President Donald Trump demonstrates his humiliation.
“The Americans are now seeking a dignified exit from the war, but we will not leave them alone until we avenge everything they have done. Every time Trump makes a statement, he only shows the world more clearly how humiliated he is“, Shekarchi was quoted as saying by ISNA.
The Iranian military spokesman assured that the United States “will not be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz under any circumstances“.
