Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the campaign against Iran ''is not over'', reports The Times of Israel, quoted by Focus.
''Israel under my leadership will continue to fight the terrorist regime of Iran and its proxies'', Netanyahu wrote in a post on X.
''We have hit them, but we still have a lot to do'', he noted.
Netanyahu stressed that he has spent most of his life fighting to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, including approving covert operations to prevent this and telling the world about the danger.
''But the world didn't want to hear'', he stressed.
Netanyahu also said that Israel had ''broken the barrier of fear'' by striking Iran last June.
The US, Israel and Iran agreed to a two-week mutual ceasefire and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz to commercial shipping days ago.
On February 28, the US and Israel launched joint strikes against Iran. Iran then attacked US bases in Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan in response.
