The Ukrainian parliament voted ''for'' the bill proposed by Volodymyr Zelensky, which extends the term of martial law in Ukraine until August 2, 2026, reports Ukrinform, quoted by Focus.

The two previously proposed bills - ''On approving the Decree of the President of Ukraine'' and ''On extending the term of martial law in Ukraine''(No. 15197) were supported by 319 deputies.

The term of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine is now changing, the new date is now - August 2, 2026.

We recall that on February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. On the same day, Kiev announced the introduction of martial law, which led to general mobilization.
