Russian President Vladimir Putin must lose the bet of terror he is trying to spread in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today at the opening of the ninth Delphi Economic Forum in Greece, ANA-MPA reported, quoted by BTA.
„It is difficult to face the challenges of an unprovoked (on our part) war alone. We need the help of our partners. It is difficult to face the enemy and it is even more difficult to regain the territories already occupied. That's why we need unity and the corresponding weaponry," emphasized Zelensky, who participated via video conference connection.
"Ukraine does not ask for much," he said, adding that the country mostly needs air defense systems and adequate artillery to improve and restore normality in the regions occupied by Russia.
„The moment we have artillery and concrete political will from our partners, we will break Putin's back”, Zelensky pointed out.
The Ukrainian president added that “Russians hate everything that is outside their borders” and therefore must be isolated.
This year's edition of the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece, at which Zelensky spoke today, is dedicated to the theme “The Great Transition”. The event is attended by politicians, scientists, researchers, experts in international relations, diplomacy and politics from all over the world.
