Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a telephone conversation with the leader of "Hamas" Ismail Hania offered his condolences for his three sons and three grandsons, who were killed by Israeli forces, the Communications Directorate of the Presidency reported, BTA reported.
In the conversation, Erdogan indicated that Israel will definitely be forced to answer to the law for its crimes against humanity. The head of the Turkish Intelligence Service (MIT) Ibrahim Kalan also offered condolences to Hania.
The Directorate of Communications also announced that the Turkish head of state conducted active telephone diplomacy with the leaders of a number of countries on the occasion of Ramadan. On this occasion, Erdogan spoke with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. After exchanging greetings on the holiday, the two leaders discussed the situation in Gaza. The need for an immediate end to Israeli strikes against the Palestinians was emphasized. The bilateral relations between Ankara and Tehran, as well as regional and global issues, were also discussed.
In a telephone conversation with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebun Erdogan emphasized that Turkey is ready to increase joint efforts with Algeria to establish a permanent truce between Israel and Palestine. Special attention has been paid to cooperation on the issue of uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid, as well as a just resolution of the Palestinian issue on the basis of two separate states. Erdogan also spoke with the leaders of Malaysia, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
