Bloomberg: Biden sided with Putin in the war - 1

The full-scale war that Russia has launched against Ukraine has entered its third year. American President Joe Biden has already sided with the aggressor Vladimir Putin, reports Bloomberg.

The reason for this finding is the USA's inexplicable request to Kiev: to stop attacking oil refineries on Russian territory. For three years, the Russian army mercilessly killed civilians, destroyed the energy and civil infrastructure of Ukraine, but it was Putin's oil refineries that proved extremely valuable to Washington.

Bloomberg writes that, unusually, the Biden administration has sided with Putin on this issue. She even publicly called on Ukraine to stop, fearing the impact of drone strikes on global oil prices.

It is hard for Ukrainians to swallow this betrayal. It comes at a time when the Ukrainian army is in desperate need of ammunition and weapons, and the US Congress has for months blocked the release of a vital $60 billion.

Putin remains focused on his military goals and is mobilizing Russia's economy to defeat Ukrainian forces determined to defend their country. However, for this purpose they need weapons. President Volodymyr Zelensky himself admitted that without the 60 billion dollars in question, Ukrainian forces would not be able to defeat the invaders.

Western countries remain divided on how much to support Ukraine, fearing an escalation of the war and a direct NATO-Russia clash. The indecision of America and Europe creates a zone of uncertainty. The big winner is Putin.
