The Battle for the White House! Kamala Harris Launches $50 Million Ad Campaign - 1

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the most likely presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, today launched an advertising campaign worth 50 million dollars, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.

In his one-minute video entitled “Fearless“ she is riding on the momentum of her early campaign against Republican rival Donald Trump.

This is Harris' first major campaign video since she rallied Democratic support behind her candidacy following President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race on July 21.

In addition to getting the support of big donors, Harris won support among groups of young voters that Biden struggled to win over.

Polls over the past week have shown Harris, 59, closing in on Trump, 78, who still leads in some national polls.

The clip will be broadcast on television as well as on some social networks in key swing states in the weeks leading up to the Democratic National Convention, which begins on August 19.

The campaign clip begins with photos of Harris as a little girl and follows her development as a prosecutor, state attorney general and vice president of the United States. “What Kamala Harris has always been is that she has been fearless,” says the text of the clip.

Since taking on his new role, Harris has focused on the allegations against Trump in the hush-hush case involving a porn star, as well as other criminal charges the former president faces. Harris pointed to Trump as being responsible for the wave of anti-abortion measures in Republican states across the country.

Harris's campaign ad buys surpassed the $10 million ad campaign announced yesterday by the Trump campaign, which will run this week in six battleground states in an effort to counter a wave of enthusiasm for voters and donations to Harris.

This is Trump's highest ad volume since January.
