US intelligence expects that a possible attack by Iran and the Lebanese Shiite movement "Hezbollah" against Israel will take place in two stages, reports the news portal Axios, quoted by Focus.
According to Washington administration sources familiar with the progress of the meeting between US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris with the national security team at the White House, intelligence has emphasized that one wave of attacks is expected from Iran, and the other – from "Hezbollah". At the same time, Washington still does not know what the nature of the attacks will be and who will carry them out first.
During the meeting, it was noted that it is not clear when exactly the attack against Israel will begin, as well as the scale of the expected consequences.
