The two injured journalists and a third who is missing after a Russian attack on a hotel in Kramatorsk, are members of a Reuters team, the agency reported.

In its statement, the news agency announced that the Sapphire Hotel, where its six-member team was staying, was hit by a Russian strike last night.

„One of our colleagues is missing, and two others have been taken to hospital for treatment,”, reported Reuters. “Three other colleagues were there. We are urgently seeking more information, working with the authorities in Kramatorsk and supporting our colleagues and their families. We will give more details when we have more information”, the agency added.

„The Russians hit Kramatorsk”, wrote in „Telegram" this morning, the regional governor of the Donetsk region, Vadim Filashkin, and added that two journalists were injured, and one was buried under the rubble of the hotel. “The authorities, police and rescuers are working on the scene. Debris is being cleared and a rescue operation is underway, he pointed out.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the attack.

The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine announced in “Telegram” that it has started a “preliminary investigation” of the strike, which took place at 22:35 local time last night.

According to the latest data from the Ukrainian army and local authorities, at least 29 people were injured in Russian airstrikes last night over Northern and Eastern Ukraine.

The attacks were aimed at frontline areas – Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk, specified the Ukrainian Air Force in its Telegram channel.

„Most of the missiles did not reach their target”, the Air Force added and indicated that Russia attacked with missiles “Iskander-M“, “Iskander-K“ and six guided missiles, but did not specify how many were shot down.

One person was killed and at least 16, including three children, were injured in the airstrike against the Sumy region, local authorities announced.

Kharkov region governor Oleg Sinegubov wrote in “Telegram” that 13 people were injured there, including a 4-year-old child.
