Russia's new missile tactics: These are literally seconds - 1

Russia is changing the tactics of missile attacks against Ukraine, while Moscow may increase the degree of escalation. This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, in a comment on the RBC-Ukraine channel on YouTube.

According to him, Russia has the ability to shell the entire territory of Ukraine, regardless of where a specific social, civil or military object or object of critical infrastructure is located.

"That is, Russia has enough missiles that can hit anywhere on the territory of Ukraine. The point here is that however you announce that there will be an attack or there will be ballistic missiles in one direction or another. This is if we are talking, for example, about Zaporozhye, Dnieper, Poltava or Kharkiv. These are literally not minutes, but seconds. That is, it is a minute and a half, two, etc. This can only be prevented if we complete the missile defense system, a comprehensive system. Especially in the eastern and southeastern regions”, noted Podoliak.

He emphasized that for protection against ballistics, it is necessary for air defense to be based on the Patriot or NASAMS systems, which work effectively against this type of missiles - then the destruction rate can be increased to 90-95%.

"We are seeing a change in the missile tactics of the Russian Federation. They hit the center of the city, by the way, we saw this in Poltava, and in Lviv, and at the beginning of this evening in Sumy”, said the OP representative.

According to him, Russia deliberately strikes places where there is intensive residential construction, the city center or social facilities, and the goal is to cause a state of shock among the population.

"Unfortunately, the Russian Federation will increase the degree of escalation in terms of international law and the civilian population of Ukraine, because Russia has no other tools to influence the situation,” concluded Podoliak.
