Serbia expects to reach an agreement with Russia by the end of September to extend the Russian gas supply agreement, which expires in 2025, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin told reporters today in St. Petersburg, quoted by TASS, writes BTA.
„I expect that the decision will be made very soon. I hope this will happen by the end of September or beginning of October. We will work quickly, we will not delay”, he said on the sidelines of the meeting of the BRICS member states in St. Petersburg, dedicated to security.
During a meeting with Vulin at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on September 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow and Belgrade must resolve the issue of the expiring gas agreement.
