A firefighter was killed in a drone attack in Ukraine's Russian-controlled Luhansk region while fighting a fire, Reuters reported, citing the Russian Emergencies Ministry .
The explosives carried by the drone exploded while 33-year-old Vyacheslav Glazunov was extinguishing a fire in the Novoaidar region, which was caused by the fall of downed drones, the ministry said on its Telegram channel.< /p>
Two other firefighters were injured and hospitalized.
Meanwhile, the head of the Ukrainian regional military administration in the Luhansk region, Artyom Lysogor, wrote in “Telegram” that the Russian occupation forces are attacking Ukrainian fortifications in the area from several sides with artillery and drones.
He specified that the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Kuzemovka, Makaevka, Stelmakhovka and Balka Zhuravka came under fire.
