For the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile against Ukraine, reported The Telegraph.
The missile, which has never been used in combat before, was fired from the Astrakhan region and targeted critical infrastructure in the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro, Ukraine's Air Force said.
The Ukrainian army did not specify whether the attack caused damage. On Wednesday, Ukrainian media reported that the Kremlin threatened to hit the country with a large-scale attack in response to Kiev firing long-range UK and US missiles at targets in Russia. Several Western embassies even closed their doors in Kyiv.
