A Ukrainian drone strike was carried out in the capital of the Russian republic of Chechnya, Grozny, and claimed civilian lives, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said today, quoted by Reuters and RIA News, writes BTA.
According to Kadyrov, the drone hit the roof of a building housing a special police unit. At the moment, there are no details on the number of victims, as well as whether they are deaths or injuries, notes Reuters.
Kadyrov is an outspoken supporter of Russia's war in Ukraine, which also involves Chechen forces.
On October 29, the roof of a military training center in the Chechen city of Gudermes was set on fire by what is believed to be the first Ukrainian drone strike against Chechnya since the war began.
