Ukraine is actively working on the development and deployment of interceptor drones to protect its cities from "Shahedi" launched from Russia, BTA writes.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Canada, "Ukrinform" reports.
"We are currently working on the development and deployment of interceptor drones - to protect our cities from "Shahedi". Our cities - and therefore yours. And we need additional funding to produce them; the exact number will be provided by our team. And this - the new interceptors - is important for Europe, for the Indo-Pacific region, for Japan, Canada and the United States," Zelensky said.
We recall that Russia launched over 440 drones and 32 missiles into Ukraine on the night of June 17.
