Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said in a post on the social network X that his country supports "US President Donald Trump's efforts to prevent the regime in Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons" after the US carried out an attack on three nuclear sites in Iran over the weekend, BTA reported.
„This is not just another nuclear country, nor a dictatorship with ambitions to create nuclear weapons. This is a theocracy armed with apocalyptic rhetoric and immersed in the endless denunciation of free nations as "satanic" and an open call for their destruction“, Rama wrote in Ex.
Emphasizing that Albania is a country that has emerged from the “abyss“ of a cruel godless regime to become a proud member of the free world, Rama stated that “Albania strongly supports President Trump's sincere efforts to prevent the theocratic regime in Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons“.
