MP from Zelensky's party: There will be no mobilization for men under 25 in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada does not accept any changes to the general mobilization for men under 25. This was announced by a deputy from the "Servant of the People" faction, member of the parliamentary committee on national security, selection and intelligence, Fedir Venislavsky, Censor.NET reports, quoted by Focus.

According to him, there is no mass conscription for conscripts of this age category.

"The Law of Ukraine on Mobilization stipulates that citizens under 25 years of age will not be called up for military service. We have provided contracts for citizens under 25 years of age who are conscripts. There will be no mass conscription, there will be no mobilization under the age of 25. The Verkhovna Rada has not adopted any changes,“ Venislavsky said during a briefing at the Ukrainian media center.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially launched the “Agreement 18-24“ project. This is a voluntary initiative for Ukrainians aged 18 to 24 who are ready to join the defense forces in a year. The project offers additional financial rewards, professional training with instructors with combat experience, and social guarantees.
