Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant: Power supply has been fully restored! - 1

The official channel of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant on Telegram reported that the power supply to the plant has been fully restored.

The "Dneprovskaya" power line with a voltage of 750 kilovolts has been put back into operation, ensuring stable power supplies to the site, the BBC specified.

The radiation level both at the site and in the surrounding monitoring zone remains within normal, natural limits, which confirms the safe status of the plant.

The emergency diesel generators, which were operating as backup, were turned off and switched to standby mode.

Yuri Chernichuk, director of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, stressed that "there were no interruptions in the plant's operation" after the restoration of power supply.

Shortly afterwards, the International Atomic Energy Agency also confirmed via X that power supply outside the plant site had been restored after a 3.5-hour outage. However, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi warned that nuclear safety in Ukraine remains "extremely uncertain".

Earlier, Ukraine reported that the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant had been knocked out of service after a Russian strike damaged a power line.
